July 4th in Pomona

July 4th, 2016.  We were still in Pomona since we had to wait until after the 4th for the RV repair guy to come fix the damage done by the plant in the KOA in the Mojave Desert which had made a hole in the side of our tire and scraped and bent part of the side of poor Tyrtle.

So there we were, in California, sitting on our folding chairs outside our own RV, watching the sun set over the KOA’s palm trees, followed by some really nice fireworks they put on for us.  Lots of people had come up specially for the holiday, so we were lucky we were already there.
