Disney’s Magic Kingdom: It’s a Small World

This is a fine ride for children of all ages … Tom saw it 35 years ago and says it seems to have not changed at all.  You simply sit in a boat with a lot of other people and float around the world while little dolls representing all possible cultures sing the same lilting song.

Be prepared – the kids may be singing that song for an hour or more afterwards, and if you are prone to get tunes stuck in your brain, you may want to think of a remedy — like the Tower of Terror perhaps.

Pictures were not easy to get with any quality, but below are the best of what we got to give  you an idea of the ride:

Lyrics of the song:

Chorus:

It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small, small world

It’s a world of laughter, a world of tears
It’s a world of hopes and a world of fears
There’s so much that we share that it’s time we’re aware
It’s a small world after all

(Chorus)

There is just one moon and one golden sun
And a smile means friendship to everyone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It’s a small world after all

(Chorus)
